The main goal of the Vanuatu Tourism Zone Foldable Modular Hotel Project is to build places for people to stay at local tourist resorts.

I. Overview of the Prefab Expandable Hotel Project

Project Title: Modular Hotel with Expandable Buildings

Construction party: The Foshan Foreign Affairs Bureau is in charge of the project, and GS Housing, a Chinese modular building construction company, is in charge of making and shipping the buildings.

Location: Vanuatu Tourism Resort

Type of the project: building modular tourist accommodations.

QTY: There are 10 units of 30-foot expandable container houses and 15 units of 20-foot expandable prefab houses in this project.

II. Technical Parameters of Modular Hotel

The Expandable Container House is a modular structural unit adapted from standard ISO prefabricated containers. It can be folded during transportation and unfolded upon arrival to create a spacious space.

Materials and Features of the Prefab House

Structural Materials: Galvanized steel frame + sandwich rock wool insulation walls

Interior Features: Pre-installed electrical systems, lighting, air conditioning connections, flooring, bathroom fixtures, and windows.

Exterior Design: Utilizing weather-resistant coatings and corrosion-resistant materials, the exterior can be customized to feature a wood grain, white-gray, or blue resort style.

Waterproof and Windproof: Meets tropical island climate requirements, withstanding Category 12 typhoons and sea breezes.

III. Purpose and Layout of the Modular Hotel

Purpose: To address the shortage of hotel rooms and limited construction conditions in Vanuatu’s tourist areas.

Applications: Island resort hotels, eco-resorts, tourist reception areas, and staff dormitories.

Construction Duration: The entire prefab hotel complex takes approximately 30 days from order to commissioning.
